Angalia, will be accessible and affordable application harnessing the power of artificial intelligence, aims to fulfill this crucial need.

Personal Risk Management
What is Angalia
Angalia means ‘to look, to see and to observe’ in Swahili. It is a computer application that serves as a Human Machine Interface (HMI) for an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based Risk Management System (RMS).
The RMS contains a database that is linked to an AI and Machine Learning (ML)-based Risk Scoring Module. The central database is updated both through the HMI and using Application Programming Interface (API) scrapers that periodically collect data from various reliable risk data sources.
The API together with HMI feed the database with demographic, photographic, itinerary, or entity information about the location or entity for which the user wishes to be given a risk score. Additionally, a concisely worded due diligence summary is provided, including risks and mitigating resources.
Upon request, the AI module retrieves the most recent information, as well as previously processed scoring information, from the database to apply Machine Learning techniques. This user request, entered through the HMI, is referred to as a Task Subject. The AI module then carries out a risk assessment calculation on the Task Subject and communicates the result back to the user through the HMI.
As such, the combined system, the Angalia App, will provide the following services to its customer groupings, including businesses, individuals and communities as follows:
User Specific and Relevant information
Anglia lets its user choose and create information that is most relevant to them. In other words, it enables the user to customise their feed to suit their needs (location, risk type and severity of incident).
Risks and Drivers
Angalia links users and SMEs with expert analysts who provide risk and incident locations, dates, many types of reported risks, including bad weather, social amenities disruption, political violence and protests.
Operation/Resource monitoring for businesses
Angalia provides platforms for monitoring resources and operations in real time, quick spatial analysis for impending events, and creates an informed incident response plan in minutes; integrates data from multiple sources and API feeds and provides visual and share all key information with one map view.
Updatable Advanced Geo-visualisation capability
Angalia provides the user with real-time information on smart maps to identify high-impact events, and areas of potential risk using predictive analytics to reveal patterns and trends on visual context, and tools to help in collaboration and fast decision making to understand impacted assets, people and places.
